There seams to be for some reason a controversy about Governors around the country deciding to lift the mask mandate for children in schools. It’s like I am in the twilight zone when it comes to this issue. Why are kids having to bear the brunt of an issue which has become so political. They are the lowest at risk for hospitalization. Mask do help but they have not stopped the spread in schools or anywhere else. The same people demanding mask to be worn at all times are not wearing them themselves. So it is ok for thousands of people on top of each other at a sporting event not to wear a mast but kids should at school? I am vaccinated and am not against those who chose not to get vaccinated but why is it ok for vaccinated people to be allowed to go in these sporting events and not un-vaccinated people when they can have and spread it just the same. I’m so confused. I say at this point and based on what I see going on around me, if you are sick stay home or see a doctor, and get tested, maybe. Feeling better, get back at it. I feel so sorry today’s kids as they will grow up in a totally different kind of world of fear.
