2022-Louisiana Governor wants to increase teacher pay. Teacher’s have been the petri dish for Politian’s to test their liberal agenda and philosophy for far too long. They will never realize it will not work. Just look at the results over the past 30 years. Teacher are dangled a bone to ensure there vote and ALWAYS leave them hanging. I wish the teachers would one day realize this fact. Teachers, as well as law enforcement, should be paid double the salary they are currently earning. We should eliminate the BESE board and shrink the top end state officials and send the money where it is needed, to the local school boards and the teachers. Pay should be merit based on the teachers performance, not on student grades, but the ability of the person’s teaching skills. Teachers should not be expected to raise kids, they should be given every tool necessary to teach kids. We want better teacher’s, and better police officers to protect us, increase their salaries substantially and increase the accountability through proper training and we all benefit.
