Meeting this morning with local state legislators and senator for update on upcoming special and regular session.  Heard how broke the state is and now it is so bad taxes will need to be raised.  I have been attending these meetings for 20 years and it is always the same, a budget shortfall or the need to use one time money to balance the budget and the dept keeps rising.  I’m sure every legislator and senator in the state gives the same update every year.  When will our state government have the political will to find real lasting solutions and tackle our state finances.  As a business person we would have been long out of business had we run our finances like our state runs it’s.
